In May 2021, the construction of school in Smedby started after the previous school built 1960 was demolished. The new school is two storeys and accommodates grades F-6. An associated sports hall was also built as part of the project.
The new school has two classes per grade and is designed to meet modern educational needs.
Peikko has delivered the slim floor structure of DELTABEAM® and DELTABEAM® Frame, which offers several advantages for modern school environments.
