The Hyatt Regency Seattle is a 1,260 luxury hotel room project including underground parking, street-level restaurants and retail. This 60 million dollar project is over 45 stories high and sits on 8th Avenue between Howell and Stewart Streets.
ARMATA® Shear Rails was chosen on this project in order to provide a slimmer floor and higher floor-to-ceiling heights compared to traditional cast-in-place solutions such as drop panels and column capitals. ARMATA® allowed for seamless coordination of mechanical systems thanks to it's slimmer floor offering.
R.C. Hedreen Company is the developer of the project while Sellen Construction is the General Contractor and LMN Architects designed this 1,400,000 square foot project. 8th & Howell was due for completion in June of 2018.
